1. The problem: creatine gummies lose their creatine

Creatine is one of the fastest-growing actives in convenient formats. It's also one of the hardest to keep on label.

In NOW's testing, passing and failing brands carried similar doses per gummy. The losses don't come from how much goes in. They come from the raw material, the formula and the process. For a brand, what matters is how much is still there at the end of shelf life.

2. Why creatine breaks down

Creatine doesn't need light or oxygen to degrade. It converts itself into creatinine, which has no performance value. Three conditions speed this up:

DriverWhat it does to creatineTypical sour gummy
AcidBreakdown speeds up as pH falls from neutral toward pH 3–5Citric/malic acid matrix, acid sanding
WaterDry crystalline creatine is stable. Dissolved creatine degrades.~15–20% water
HeatHigher temperature speeds up the conversionActive added into a hot cooked mass

3. How CREAJOY protects creatine

CREAJOY is a dual-layer chew: a confectionery shell around a separately made burst center. Each layer carries 450 mg of creatine.

① Triple-layer protection

The first layer is the raw material itself: CreHytine™ CG coated creatine in both the shell and the burst center. The shell and the burst center are the second and third layers.

② Low-temperature processing

Creatine is added below 40°C (104°F), after cooking. It never goes through the high-heat step.

③ Moisture and pH control

Water activity is kept below 0.6, and the burst center is neutral pH, the range where creatine is most stable.

④ Nitrogen-flushed individual packs

Each chew is individually packed under nitrogen to keep oxygen and moisture out until it's opened.

Why split the dose 450 + 450? Splitting halves the creatine load in each layer. That keeps the chew soft instead of chalky, leaves room for flavor, and means neither layer has to carry all the risk.

Sugar-free, with a 24-month shelf life.
